Clash.gg Revolution Case: Skins, Gloves, Odds and Real Cost
Updated · ·

The Revolution Case is the one with the M4A4 | Temukau and the AK-47 | Head Shot, two skins you see in a lot of loadouts. It also has gloves instead of knives in the gold slot, which surprises plenty of people the first time they look it up. If you landed here searching "Clash.gg Revolution Case", you're probably trying to work out what's in it, what one opening really costs you, and where Clash.gg fits in. Here's the straight answer, bro.
Quick honesty check: we haven't opened a stack of Revolution Cases ourselves. Everything below comes from Valve's standard case odds, community trackers (CS Terminal, CSDB, CaseBattles, Eneba) and Clash.gg's Stash database, all checked on October 28, 2026. Prices move daily, so read the numbers as a snapshot, not a quote.

Key facts first
- Release date: February 9, 2023, a few months before CS2 replaced CS:GO.
- What it holds: 17 weapon skins from The Revolution Collection (2 Covert, 3 Classified, 5 Restricted, 7 Mil-Spec).
- Rare slot: gloves, not knives. Six glove types in four finishes each, 24 pairs in all.
- Chance of gloves: 0.26%, about one opening in 385.
- Spend per opening: about $2.70 in late October 2026, almost all of it the $2.49 key.
- On Clash.gg: Valve's case doesn't open there. Stash lists the contents, the marketplace sells the skins, and Clash.gg's own cases are a separate thing with their own odds.

Valve case, Clash.gg case or Stash page?
When someone says "the Clash.gg Revolution Case", they usually mean one of these:
- Valve's Revolution Case, the item in your CS2 inventory. It comes from the weekly drop or another player. You need a Valve key to open it, the odds are Valve's, and the result goes to your Steam inventory.
- A Clash.gg site case. Clash.gg designs its own cases. It chooses the items, sets each item's chance and shows that table on the case page. A site case might include a Temukau, but its odds won't match Valve's.
- The Stash listing. Clash.gg runs Stash (stash.clash.gg), a free database of skins and cases. Its Revolution Case page shows all 17 skins and the 24 gloves with prices. When we checked, it showed no recent Clash.gg price for the case itself, while its case list showed about €0.21 on the Steam market.
Knowing which one you're looking at stops you from assuming the wrong odds. Our Clash.gg marketplace guide covers buying skins directly with site balance.
Everything in the Revolution Case
The two reds (Covert, 0.64% combined)
M4A4 | Temukau. A bright anime-style design that quickly became one of the most-used M4A4 skins. AK-47 | Head Shot. A bold comic-style AK. Clash.gg Stash showed the Head Shot from around $34 in the wear we saw listed, with cleaner and StatTrak versions costing more. Each of the two gets about 0.32% of openings.
The three pinks (Classified, 3.20%)
- AWP | Duality
- UMP-45 | Wild Child, which Stash showed at roughly $10 to $29 for StatTrak versions
- P2000 | Wicked Sick
There's a small story here. At launch, the AWP pink was the AWP | Doodle Lore. Valve pulled it within days amid claims that its artwork was copied, and swapped in the AWP | Duality. Doodle Lore units that were already unboxed stayed in inventories, which is why you still see them traded.
The five purples (Restricted, 15.98%)
- M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S (around $3 in the Stash snapshot)
- Glock-18 | Umbral Rabbit (around $0.55 to $1)
- MAC-10 | Sakkaku
- R8 Revolver | Banana Cannon
- P90 | Neoqueen
The seven blues (Mil-Spec, 79.92%)
- MP9 | Featherweight
- MAG-7 | Insomnia
- SCAR-20 | Fragments
- P250 | Re.built
- MP5-SD | Liquidation
- SG 553 | Cyberforce
- Tec-9 | Rebel
Blues like the MP9 Featherweight and P250 Re.built were selling for well under a dollar. Since four out of five openings land on a blue, that's where most of your money goes.
The gloves: what you can actually hit
The Revolution Case reuses the glove set first introduced with the Clutch Case in 2018. Stash lists the same 24 gloves as "found in 2 cases" for that reason. Here's the full set:
| Glove type | Finishes |
|---|---|
| Sport Gloves | Vice, Omega, Amphibious, Bronze Morph |
| Specialist Gloves | Fade, Crimson Web, Mogul, Buckshot |
| Moto Gloves | POW!, Turtle, Polygon, Transport |
| Driver Gloves | King Snake, Imperial Plaid, Racing Green, Overtake |
| Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls, Overprint, Arboreal, Duct Tape |
| Hydra Gloves | Case Hardened, Emerald, Rattler, Mangrove |
The value spread is huge. In the Stash snapshot, a Driver Gloves Racing Green started near $91 and Hydra Rattler near $118, while Sport Gloves Bronze Morph was listed around $2,000. CS Terminal put a Factory New Sport Gloves Vice at over $6,600. Most glove hits are at the cheaper end. A Vice or a clean Specialist Fade is the dream, and it's a small slice of an already small slot.
Gloves only come in normal quality. There's no StatTrak version, unlike the weapon skins. If gloves are what you're really after, our guide to the cheapest CS2 gloves shows which pairs give you the look for less, and our knife and glove combo guide helps you match them.
The odds, without the maths headache
Valve uses the same rarity split in every standard weapon case:
- Blue (Mil-Spec): 79.92%, about four of every five openings
- Purple (Restricted): 15.98%, about one in six
- Pink (Classified): 3.20%, about one in 31
- Red (Covert): 0.64%, about one in 156
- Gloves: 0.26%, about one in 385
Each opening is its own roll. Nothing "builds up" between them, and a long run without reds doesn't change the next result. StatTrak versions of the weapon skins turn up about 10% of the time within a tier. For the full picture of how case odds work, see our CS2 case odds guide. The cost of one opening
The Revolution Case is a great example of why "cheap case" is a trap.
- The case: CS Terminal showed the last Steam market sale at about $0.21 on October 24, 2026, down about 98% from its launch-week high of $13.46.
- The key: $2.49 from Valve, the same price as always. You can't buy one cheaper on the market.
- Total: about $2.70 per spin. Over 90% of that is the key.
Most trackers estimate the average opening returns well under half of what you pay, so expect to lose more than a dollar per spin over time. Our CS2 key price guide explains why the key is the real cost.
Here's the gloves math in one line: at around $2.70 per opening and one pair per 385 openings, the average spend before you see gloves is a bit over $1,000. And most gloves in the pool are worth far less than that.
Still dropping in 2026?
CS Terminal lists the Revolution Case in the active weekly drop pool as of October 2026. That keeps supply high and the price low, so this isn't a case to stash away and hope it climbs. Its price fell about 63% over the past year by CS Terminal's numbers. Valve can change the pool any week, so check a current drop list if you're relying on it.
Getting Revolution skins and gloves for less
Buy what you want. If you want a Temukau or a Head Shot, buying the skin is the cheapest and most certain path. Pick your wear, compare a couple of markets and you're done. On Clash.gg you can buy with site balance and withdraw to Steam.
Trade up five reds into gloves. Since Valve's October 22, 2025 update, five Covert skins can be traded up for a knife or gloves from one input's collection. Five Revolution Coverts can return one of these 24 gloves. You can't pick the pair, so check the value of the possible results first. Our trade-up contracts guide and the trade-up calculator help with that. Clash.gg's own version is explained in our Clash.gg trade-up guide.
Play Clash.gg's cases with free cases first. Clash.gg's site cases and upgrader show the odds before you play. There's still a house edge, so the long-run average is a loss. Through our link you get free cases to try the site before spending anything.

Revolution vs other cases
Compared with the Fever Case or Fracture, the Revolution Case has cheaper openings and two very popular rifle Coverts, but the gold slot is gloves instead of knives. If you'd rather hit a knife, look at a knife case. If you'd rather have gloves, this case and the Clutch Case share the same pool, and the Revolution is usually the cheaper of the two to open. Our Clash.gg knives guide covers knife hunting on the site.
Avoid these mistakes
- Expecting a knife. There are none in this case. The gold slot is gloves only.
- Thinking the price tag is the cost. A 21-cent case is still a $2.70 spin.
- Treating site cases as the same thing. Clash.gg cases have their own items and odds.
- Counting on the case going up in value. It's in the drop pool and has fallen for years.
Play it safe
Case opening is real-money gambling, even inside a game. Decide your budget first, don't chase losses and don't touch money you need. Take breaks. If it's not fun anymore, stop. Free, confidential help is listed on our responsible gambling page.
