Why we only list two sites
There are dozens of skin sites. Many have sketchy withdrawals or hidden odds. We only list sites we actually trust: Clash.gg and CSGOEmpire. Read our case opening sites comparison.
Promo code scams to avoid
- "Free skins" from Steam chat. Almost always a scam.
- Fake Valve codes. Valve doesn't give promo codes for skins.
- Sites asking for your Steam password. Always sign in through official Steam login.
- Giveaways asking you to log in through a link. Check the URL.
Tips for using free cases
- Open your free cases before depositing.
- If you win something, consider withdrawing it.
- Set a budget before depositing.
- Use our responsible gambling tips.

How promo codes and referral codes work
On skin sites, promo codes are usually tied to a referral system. When you enter a code like FREECASES4U, the site links your account to that referral and gives you a welcome bonus. You can typically only use one referral code per account, so choose the one with the best offer. With FREECASES4U, you get 3 free cases plus a 5% deposit bonus on Clash.gg and a free case worth up to $1.4k on CSGOEmpire.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Code says invalid | Check spelling: FREECASES4U, no spaces |
| Already used a code | Most sites allow only one per account |
| Free cases locked | Check requirements like Steam level or playtime |
| Deposit bonus missing | Make sure the code was applied before depositing |
If something still doesn't work, contact the site's support.
Getting the most from your free cases
- Open them right away so you don't forget.
- If you hit something good, consider withdrawing instead of gambling it.
- Combine with daily cases for extra value.
- Read our Clash.gg review and CSGOEmpire review to understand each site before depositing.
Why use a promo code at all?
Without a code, you sign up and get nothing extra. With FREECASES4U, you get free cases to try the site before depositing, and on Clash.gg you also get 5% extra on deposits. It costs you nothing, and it lets you judge a site without risking your own money first.
