CSGOEmpire Odds: The Real Numbers Behind Every Game
Updated · By the MyCS2Guru Editorial Team

Odds are the one thing you can't argue with, bro. Every game on CSGOEmpire has a published house edge, and for roulette and cases you can work out the exact chances yourself. This page lays out the real CSGOEmpire odds for roulette, coinflip, cases, battles and match betting, how results are generated, and what the numbers mean for your balance. Strategy and bankroll for roulette specifically: CSGOEmpire roulette strategy.
House edges by game
| Game | House edge | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Coinflip | 0.5% | Empire help centre |
| Roulette | 6.66% | Empire help centre |
| Cases | 8.8% | Empire help centre |
| Case battles | 8.8% | Empire help centre |
| Match betting | In the odds (~4% reported) | Reviewers |
The house edge is the average percentage of what you bet that the site keeps over time. On 1,000 coins wagered, that's about 5 coins on coinflip, about 67 on roulette and about 88 on cases.

Roulette odds, exactly
Empire's roulette fairness script shows exactly how each roll is made: a hash is turned into a number from 0 to 14. 0 is the bonus (dice), 1–7 is one colour (T) and 8–14 is the other (CT). That's 15 equally likely outcomes.
| Bet | Outcomes | Chance | Pays | Return per 100 coins (average) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| T | 7 of 15 | 46.67% | 2x | 93.33 |
| CT | 7 of 15 | 46.67% | 2x | 93.33 |
| Dice | 1 of 15 | 6.67% | 14x | 93.33 |
Every bet returns 93.33% on average, which is the 6.66% house edge Empire publishes. That's an important point: no roulette bet is better value than another. Dice just swings harder.
Roulette streaks: what to expect
Because T and CT each hit less than half the time, losing streaks come more often than people expect.
| Losses in a row on one colour | Chance (from any spin) |
|---|---|
| 3 | ~15.2% |
| 5 | ~4.3% |
| 8 | ~0.7% |
| 10 | ~0.2% |
Dice is rarer still: the chance of going 30 spins without a dice is about 12.6%, and 45 spins without one is about 4.5%. "Dice is due" is a myth; every spin is a fresh 1 in 15.
Roulette limits
| Bet | Max per round |
|---|---|
| T | 250,000 coins |
| CT | 250,000 coins |
| Dice | 50,000 coins |
| Total round (all sides) | 1,000,000 coins, with T and CT bets offsetting |
How roulette results are generated
Empire generates a full day of roulette results at 00:00 UTC using a server seed and a public seed (five pairs of random numbers from 01 to 39). During the day, only the hashed server seed is shown. At 00:00 UTC the next day, the seed is revealed so anyone can recompute every roll from the seeds and round number. The results were fixed before anyone bet, so nobody can change them in response to bets.

Coinflip odds
Coinflip is a straight 50/50 with Empire taking 0.5% from the winning payout. Flip 50 coins and win, and you get 99.5 back. On average you lose 0.25 coins per 50-coin flip, which is 0.5% of your stake. The result uses a future EOS blockchain block, so it can't be known when you join. Bot flips are capped at 200,000 coins; PvP has no limit. Guide: CSGOEmpire coinflip.
Case odds
Each case shows every item and its chance. Behind the scenes, Empire's case fairness article explains that each case has a ticket quantity (10,000 tickets per item in the case, so an 8-item case has 80,000), and your result comes from a server seed, your client seed, a nonce and the case's ticket quantity. You can change your client seed on Empire's fairness page, and the spinner animation is just a display of the result already generated. The overall edge is 8.8% on cases and battles. Guide: CSGOEmpire best cases.
Match betting odds
Match odds come from a bookmaker, not a random number generator. To find the margin on a market, add up the implied chances (1 ÷ odds for each outcome). A two-way market at 1.85 / 1.95 gives 54.1% + 51.3% = 105.3% (rounded), a margin of about 5.3%. Reviewers estimate Empire's match betting margin around 4% on average, but it varies by match and market. Empire also applies stake limits that vary by user, match and market. What the odds mean for a session
Numbers on a page feel abstract, so here's what they look like in a real session. Say you play 100 roulette spins at 2 coins each on one colour: 200 coins wagered. On average you'd lose about 13 coins. But the spread is wide: a typical session can easily finish 20 or 30 coins up or down, and a bad run can be worse. Swap to dice bets of 2 coins and the average loss is identical, but most sessions end down, with the occasional big up session when dice lands a few times. Same edge, very different experience.
Coinflip shows the opposite: 100 flips of 2 coins costs about 1 coin on average. Your result will still swing by tens of coins from luck, but the house barely nibbles. Cases sit at the other end: 200 coins of cases costs about 18 coins on average, and the spread depends on how top-heavy the cases are.
Using odds to choose games
If your goal is to make a budget last as long as possible, coinflip is the clear winner on Empire. If you enjoy the social side of roulette, accept that each spin costs about 6.66% of your stake on average and size bets accordingly. If cases are what you love, budget for the higher edge by picking cheaper cases and fewer openings per session. And with match betting, the margin depends on the market, so it pays to compare odds and avoid long combos, where margins stack up.
Rewards change the effective cost slightly
That effectively shaves a little off the cost of play. On roulette, for example, 25% of a 6.66% edge is about 1.67% back into your pool, making the effective edge closer to 5% if you claim your daily case consistently. It doesn't flip the maths into profit, but it's worth knowing. Guides: daily case, levels.
Odds myths
"Dice is due after 30 spins." No, every spin is 1 in 15. "Alternating T and CT beats the wheel." No, each bet returns 93.33% on average. "Big bets get worse odds." The roulette results are generated for the day before anyone bets. "Coinflip bots are rigged." The EOS block approach makes outcomes unknowable in advance, and you can verify them.
Verifying the odds yourself
You don't have to trust any of this. After 00:00 UTC, take the revealed roulette server seed, the day's public seed and a round number, and run Empire's published script (it hashes them with SHA-256, takes the first 8 hex characters as a number and divides by 15). The remainder is the roll: 0 is dice, 1 to 7 one colour, 8 to 14 the other. Do it for a handful of rounds and you'll see the results match. The same goes for cases with your client seed and nonce, and for coinflip with the EOS block ID. Background: what is provably fair.
