Nothing's more stressful than a payout stuck on "pending", bro. The good news: on CSGOEmpire almost every pending payout has a clear cause, and most fix themselves within a known time. Skin withdrawals depend on real sellers, sold skins are held by Steam's trade protection, and crypto has its own rules and network speeds. This page walks through every reason a CSGOEmpire payout is pending and exactly what to do about each.

Skin withdrawal pending

Empire's marketplace is fully player to player, with no site bots. When you withdraw a skin, a real seller has to send it. Auction trades give the seller 30 minutes to send and you 30 minutes to accept. Normal trades give 12 hours each. Neither side can cancel once the trade is active.

What to do:

  1. Check Steam for an incoming trade offer and confirm it matches the item and the seller Empire shows.
  2. Check the seller's status: online indicator, delivery rate and delivery time.
  3. Wait out the timer. If the seller doesn't send, the trade fails and your coins come back.
  4. Consider cancelling a normal withdrawal after 30 minutes if the seller hasn't sent and you have Trade Tracking enabled. Auction withdrawals can't be cancelled.
  5. Pick reliable sellers next time: online, with high delivery rates.

Coins pending after selling a skin

Since Steam made trades reversible for 7 days, Empire protects buyers by holding seller payment: it can take up to 8 days before you receive your coins. That's the most common "payout pending" complaint, and it's working as designed. If a buyer reverses the trade, Empire still holds the funds and handles it as a dispute, and reversers are permanently banned.

What to do: check your instant credit limit, which can pay you immediately up to that amount for skins sold under protection, and grows with your history. Otherwise, wait out the window. Guide: CSGOEmpire instant deposit.

Crypto withdrawal pending or blocked

Wager rule. If you deposited with cash or crypto, you must wager the full deposit before withdrawing crypto. Skin deposits don't need wagering. If crypto withdrawal is greyed out, this is usually why.

KYC. Empire usually asks for identity checks after 4,500 coins of crypto withdrawals in total, and sometimes earlier. An ID Verification tab appears on your profile. You'll need proof of ID and a proof of address from the last 90 days.

Manual review. Empire's security system can put an account under manual review. Contact support and complete whatever they ask.

Network speed. Bitcoin's slow tier can take up to 24 hours (usually a few hours); standard is about 30–60 minutes, fast about 10–30. Coins like LTC, SOL, XRP, TRX, BNB, POL and BCH are listed as always instant on Empire's side.

Exchange-side delay. Once sent, your exchange may need its own confirmations before crediting.

Check Your Empire Withdrawals

Step-by-step: diagnosing a stuck crypto payout

  1. Was the withdrawal accepted? If you couldn't submit it, check the wager rule and KYC.
  2. Is there a transaction ID? If yes, look it up on a block explorer for that coin.
  3. Pending on the blockchain? Network congestion or a slow tier; wait.
  4. Confirmed on-chain but not on your exchange? Contact your exchange.
  5. No transaction ID after a long wait? Contact Empire support with the time, amount, coin and address.

Preventing pending payouts

Set up Steam properly (Mobile Authenticator, public inventory, current trade URL), turn on Trade Tracking and notifications, prefer online sellers with good delivery stats, have KYC documents ready before big crypto withdrawals, and pick fast, cheap networks. Most "stuck" payouts disappear once these habits are in place.

How long is "too long"?

Use Empire's own timers as your benchmark. For a skin withdrawal, nothing is wrong until the seller's window passes: 30 minutes for auctions, 12 hours for normal trades. For coins after selling, up to 8 days is expected under trade protection. For Bitcoin on the slow tier, up to 24 hours is within Empire's stated range. Only once you're past those windows, or a crypto withdrawal has no transaction ID after a reasonable time, is it worth chasing support.

Contacting support effectively

When you do contact support, give them everything up front: what kind of payout, the amount, the time you requested it, the item or coin, and any transaction ID or trade details. Screenshots help. Be clear about what you've already checked (wager status, KYC, Steam trade offers). That turns a long back-and-forth into a quick fix. Never share your password, Steam Guard codes or API key with anyone claiming to be support, and ignore DMs from "staff" on Discord or Steam.

Common mistakes that cause pending payouts

The big ones: withdrawing skins from offline sellers with poor delivery records, missing the 30-minute window on an auction, depositing crypto and expecting to withdraw crypto without wagering, waiting until after a big win to sort out KYC, and choosing Bitcoin's slow tier when you need funds quickly. Each one is avoidable.

Is CSGOEmpire slow to pay out?

Third-party reviewers generally describe Empire's withdrawals as reliable, and its long track record is a big part of its reputation. Most "pending" stories come from the P2P system and trade protection rather than the site withholding money. That said, large crypto withdrawals can trigger checks, so plan ahead if you expect to cash out a big amount.

Checklist: before you panic

Is it a skin withdrawal still inside the seller's 30-minute or 12-hour window? Is it a sale still inside the up-to-8-day protection hold? Is your crypto withdrawal blocked by the wager rule? Has an ID Verification tab appeared? Is your Bitcoin on the slow tier? Has your exchange credited it yet? Run through those six questions and you'll find the answer nine times out of ten without contacting anyone.

Selling skins: why the hold exists

The up-to-8-day hold isn't Empire being slow. Steam's trade protection lets either side reverse a completed trade for 7 days. If Empire paid sellers instantly, a scammer could sell a skin, take the coins, then reverse the trade and get the skin back. Holding payment until the window passes protects buyers, and instant credit lets trusted sellers skip most of the wait.

FAQ

Why is my CSGOEmpire skin withdrawal pending?

Skin withdrawals are P2P, so you're waiting for the seller to send. Sellers have 30 minutes for auction trades and 12 hours for normal trades.

Why haven't I received coins for a skin I sold?

Under Steam's trade protection, Empire can take up to 8 days to pay sellers, so the buyer keeps the item first. Instant credit can cover this up to your limit.

Why is my crypto withdrawal stuck?

Common causes are the wager rule on cash/crypto deposits, a KYC check, a manual review, or the slow speed tier on Bitcoin (up to 24 hours).

Can I cancel a pending skin withdrawal?

Normal withdrawals may be cancellable after 30 minutes if the seller hasn't sent and Trade Tracking is on. Auction withdrawals can't be cancelled.

What does "account under manual review" mean?

Empire's security system has flagged the account for checks. Contact support and complete any verification requested.

What if the seller never sends?

If the trade fails, your coins are returned, and the seller can receive a trade punishment.

How long does Empire take to pay sellers?

Up to 8 days under trade protection, unless your instant credit limit covers the sale.

Will support speed up my withdrawal?

Support can help with reviews, KYC and failed trades, but can't speed up Steam timers or blockchain confirmations.

My trade was reversed, what happens?

Empire holds seller funds during the reversal window and treats it as a dispute. Contact support.

Why is my withdrawal pending after KYC?

Checks are automated but can take time; contact support if it's been unusually long.

Can I use pending coins from a sale?

Only if instant credit has credited them. Otherwise they arrive when the protection window ends.

Does Empire have live chat support?

Reviewers describe 24/7 live chat support; use the help widget on the site.

Is my money safe while a payout is pending?

Pending coins are held by Empire under its trade rules; failed skin trades return coins to your balance.

Why is my LTC withdrawal pending if LTC is instant?

"Instant" refers to Empire sending it; check the wager rule, KYC and whether your exchange has credited it.
