Mirage Callouts: Every Spot You Need

Mirage is the most played map in CS2, and knowing its callouts is non-negotiable. The map has three main areas: A site, mid and B site. Here's every important callout, what it's used for and who usually plays it.

How to use these callouts

Ts commonly call positions like "Jungle", "Stairs" and "CT" on A executes. CTs call "Palace" and "A Ramp" when Ts push A. In mid, "Window" and "Connector" are the big ones. On B, "Apartments" and "Short" tell you where Ts are coming from.

Mirage strategy tips

  • A executes usually smoke CT, Jungle and Stairs.
  • Mid control decides most Mirage rounds. Win Connector and Short, and you can hit either site.
  • B rushes through Apartments can catch CTs off guard, especially on eco rounds.

How to learn Mirage callouts fast

  1. Load Mirage offline.
  2. Walk from T spawn to A, saying every callout aloud.
  3. Walk T spawn to B through Apartments.
  4. Walk through mid to both sites.
  5. Repeat from CT spawn.

  • Mixing up Jungle and Connector.
  • Saying "mid" without specifying Top Mid, Window or Short.

  • What's Tetris? The box arrangement near A Ramp.
  • Where's Firebox? On A site, a hidden spot near Stairs.
  • What's Sandwich? The area between Stairs and Ramp.

Using Mirage callouts in a real round

On T side, the mid player throws a Window smoke and calls "Window smoked, one Connector." The Apartments player calls "B quiet, one Van." The IGL calls "A execute, smokes Jungle, CT and Stairs." The entry calls "Firebox, one Ticket Booth" as they enter. After the plant, positions are Palace, Ramp and Jungle.

On CT side, the Window player calls "Two Top Mid, they smoked Window." The B anchor calls "Apartments, three." Rotations follow: "Rotating B from Short."

Walk Mirage offline: T Spawn, Top Mid, Underpass, Short, Window, Connector, Jungle, Stairs, Ticket Booth, Firebox, A Site, Palace, A Ramp, Tetris, then Apartments, Kitchen, Van, Bench, Market, B Site, Arches, CT.

Final tip

Mirage is the most played map in CS2, so knowing its callouts perfectly pays off constantly. Learn the names, then learn the most common positions for each side, and practice calling them quickly. You'll become the teammate who always gives useful information, and your team will win more rounds because of it.

Callouts for retakes

In retakes, call bomb location and enemy positions together: "Bomb A default, one Palace, one Ramp, retake from CT and Jungle." It tells everyone where to throw utility and which angles to clear first.
