Clash.gg vs SkinClub: Which Case Site Should You Use?
Updated · By the MyCS2Guru Editorial Team

SkinClub and Clash.gg both show up when you're hunting for a decent CS2 case site, bro, and both look polished. But once you dig into the help pages, they make very different choices about how you deposit, how you get paid and what you can actually play. We compared them using each site's own FAQ and terms, so this isn't vibes, it's what they say in writing. Disclosure: we're a Clash.gg affiliate, and we'll still point out where SkinClub does things well.
Quick verdict
Go with Clash.gg if you want case battles at scale, extra games like plinko and mines, and the choice of redeeming crypto as well as skins. Consider SkinClub if you just want simple case openings and upgrades, you're happy to be paid only in skins, and you like features such as exclusive drops. Both are gambling products with a house edge, so budget like it.

Who runs them
Both are Cyprus companies, which is a coincidence worth noting:
| Clash.gg | SkinClub | |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | Rust Clash Entertainment Ltd | MOONTAIN LIMITED (HE410299) |
| Address | Thermistokli Dervi 48, Nicosia | 13 Kypranoros Street, Nicosia |
| Model | Sweepstakes / social gaming | Case opening and upgrade site |
| Sign in | Steam | Steam or Google |
| Support | support@clash.gg | help@skin.club |
SkinClub's terms say MOONTAIN LIMITED also runs CS2.Club. Clash.gg's operator is reported to run RustClash too. Neither publishes a mainstream gambling licence on these pages, so your protection mostly comes from their own terms.
Deposits: the 8-day skin hold
This is a big practical difference. SkinClub's FAQ says that since Steam introduced its 7-day Trade Protection, which lets people reverse trades, skin deposits on SkinClub are held for 8 days before the value lands in your balance. You can see the countdown in your profile under Payments, On Hold, and you have to tick a box accepting it before depositing.
Clash.gg also lives with Steam's rules. Its help page says deposits can take a few minutes depending on Steam, and won't come through if you're on trade hold or haven't had the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator for over 15 days. Crypto deposits go through Fireblocks and need blockchain confirmations. If you want to play right away with skins, check each site's current deposit rules before you send anything. More in our Clash.gg skin deposit guide.
Withdrawals: skins only vs skins plus crypto
SkinClub's FAQ is blunt: "Skin.Club does not provide cash withdrawal options." Everything you win comes out as skins sent by Steam bots, usually within minutes once a trade offer is ready.
Clash.gg's sweepstakes rules list several ways to redeem winnings: receive the actual item, redeem the Gems value as cryptocurrency, or redeem for Gems. There are conditions: your balance must be fully played through, a minimum of 20 applies, KYC is needed for crypto redemptions that come from card deposits, and the rules say one redemption request is processed per account in any five-day period. Still, having crypto as an option is a real advantage if you don't want to resell skins yourself. See Clash.gg withdrawal time.
Case battles
Clash.gg's terms describe battles of two to six players or bots opening identical cases, and battles are the site's main attraction. SkinClub runs battles too, and its FAQ mentions an "Exclusive Drop" mode that can be switched on for an entire battle, giving rare items a second spin featuring only top drops. If you love battles, Clash.gg's bigger lobbies and battle-first design give it the edge; SkinClub's exclusive drop is a fun twist.
Upgrader
| Clash.gg | SkinClub | |
|---|---|---|
| How you set odds | Pick your chance; the price changes with it | Chance set by price gap between your skins and the target |
| Chance range | Chosen by you | 1% to 90% per FAQ |
| What you put in | Balance | One or more skins from your SkinClub inventory |
Both work on the same basic idea: the bigger the jump in value, the lower your chance. Check our Clash.gg upgrader guide for how to size upgrades sensibly.
Other features
Clash.gg's rules list tiles, plinko, mines, jackpot, roll and double, plus missions and levels. SkinClub focuses on cases, battles and upgrades, with extras like "Adrenaline Levels" (an information label from LOW to CRAZY based on how likely a case is to hit desirable skins versus its cost) and Package Offers, which are limited-time deposit bundles. Clash.gg has more to do; SkinClub is simpler. If you get bored opening case after case, that difference matters more than any bonus, because variety is what keeps a small balance fun for longer.
Free stuff
- Clash.gg: free cases through our link (join Discord and connect your account), daily KYC case, level cases, rain every 30 minutes for level 10+ or verified players, a Gold Coins faucet, missions and a mail-in route for free Gems.
- SkinClub: a Free Case Giveaway for Steam-login users (not Google accounts), promo codes and limited-time Package Offers tied to deposits.
Package Offers are deposit bonuses in disguise, so read the conditions: SkinClub's FAQ says only one can apply per deposit and smaller deposits don't add up towards the required amount.
Account and trade URL rules
SkinClub has some strict account details: if you sign in with Google, that account is completely separate from any Steam account, and you can only change your trade URL once every 30 days. Clash.gg allows one account per person and asks you to keep your Steam trade URL current. Either way, use a single account and keep your trade link updated. Our Clash.gg trade URL fix helps if trades fail.
Safety
Both sites warn about scams. SkinClub's FAQ says anyone claiming to be its admin, moderator or trade bot who adds you on Steam is a scammer. The same applies to Clash.gg. Never share your Steam API key, always check the address bar, and don't accept trades you didn't start. Both describe provably fair systems, and SkinClub lets you check roll and seed history.
Trade reversals: don't do it
Steam's Trade Protection lets you reverse recent trades, and some players think that's a free undo button on a site withdrawal. It isn't. SkinClub's FAQ warns that if you reverse a withdrawal, the item is removed from your inventory, it is not refunded to your SkinClub balance, and Steam restricts your account from trading and the Community Market for 30 days. It also notes that a reversal cancels every trade from the past seven days, not just one. The same logic applies on any site, Clash.gg included: reversing trades you received from a site is a fast way to lose items and get restricted.
Which player is each site for?
- The battle grinder: Clash.gg, no contest. Bigger lobbies and more formats.
- The casual case opener who wants a clean interface and only skins out: SkinClub is fine.
- The crypto cashout player: Clash.gg, since SkinClub doesn't pay out cash or crypto.
- The US player: Clash.gg publishes exactly which states are excluded, which makes eligibility easy to check.
- The bonus hunter: both have offers, but Clash.gg's free routes don't depend on making a deposit.
