NAVI vs Vitality Odds: The Head-to-Head, the Maps and What the Price Really Says

NAVI vs Vitality is one of the biggest matchups in CS2, and it comes round a lot. The two teams met seven times in 2026 before November, twice in the same week at PGL Masters Bucharest. If you're looking at NAVI vs Vitality odds, the honest headline is simple: Vitality have owned this matchup, and the price usually says so.

This guide goes through every 2026 meeting with map scores where we could confirm them, the veto patterns both teams keep repeating, what a typical price implies, and how BO3 and BO5 change the maths. Results come from Liquipedia's match lists, NAVI's own match reports, HLTV and match previews, checked on 29 October 2026. The probabilities are from a simple model we explain as we go, not from any bookmaker. We didn't place test bets for this page.

Reminder: betting is entertainment money, not income. Only bet where it's legal for you and if you're of legal age.

The rosters behind the odds

Prices follow the players, so start there.

NAVI play with Aleksib as in-game leader, b1t, iM, w0nderful and makazze, who joined in July 2025. The coach is B1ad3. NAVI won the first CS2 Major at PGL Copenhagen in 2024, and in 2026 they won the ESL Pro League Season 23 Finals in March and IEM Atlanta in May.

Vitality play with apEX, ZywOo, flameZ, mezii and ropz, with XTQZZZ as coach. They won the Austin Major in June 2025 and the Budapest Major in December 2025, and they've collected a long list of big titles in 2026, including BLAST Open Rotterdam, IEM Rio, BLAST Rivals Spring and ESL Pro League Season 24. In August 2026 apEX and ZywOo extended their contracts to the end of 2028.

One detail matters for the most recent meetings. At PGL Masters Bucharest in October 2026, Vitality played with jL standing in for apEX. jL is the same player NAVI released on 1 July 2026, so he lined up against his old team twice that week. Stand-ins usually make bookmakers shorten the underdog a little. In Bucharest it didn't help NAVI.

That's six Vitality wins from seven series in 2026, and seven from the last eight if you include the Budapest Major. When the Rotterdam final ended 3-0, HLTV noted that Vitality had stretched their unbeaten run against NAVI to 16 series and 22 maps. NAVI finally broke it in Atlanta in May, then went on to win that event.

On the 13 maps where we have scores, Vitality won 9 and NAVI won 4. Two series (IEM Rio and BLAST Rivals) are left out of the map counts because we couldn't confirm their maps from a source we trust.

What the 2026 maps tell you

Breaking those 13 maps down by map:

  • Dust2: Vitality 4-0. Every Dust2 meeting in 2026 went Vitality's way, including the Bucharest quarter-final decider.
  • Mirage: Vitality 2-0, both times as Vitality's pick or the decider.
  • Inferno: Vitality 2-1. NAVI's only Inferno win was the 13-3 decider in Atlanta, and Vitality won the Bucharest rematch 13-2.
  • Anubis: Vitality 2-1. Two of the three were tight: 13-10 Vitality, 13-11 NAVI, then 13-5 Vitality in October.
  • Nuke: NAVI 1-0, as Vitality's own pick in EPL S24.
  • Cache: NAVI 1-0, as NAVI's pick in the Bucharest quarter-final.
  • Ancient: no meetings, because Vitality banned it both times we have a veto for.

Cache only came back into the active map pool in July 2026, so the sample there is a single map. Treat every number on this list as a hint, not a rule. One map is one map.

The veto patterns both teams repeat

We have full vetoes for the two most recent BO3s:

4 October 2026 (EPL S24): NAVI removed Dust2, Vitality removed Ancient, NAVI picked Anubis, Vitality picked Nuke, NAVI removed Inferno, Vitality removed Cache, and Mirage was the decider.

29 October 2026 (Bucharest quarter-final): NAVI removed Inferno, Vitality removed Ancient, NAVI picked Cache, Vitality picked Mirage, Vitality removed Anubis, NAVI removed Nuke, and Dust2 was the decider.

Two things stand out:

  1. Vitality ban Ancient first. That's consistent across both vetoes, so you rarely see this matchup on Ancient.
  2. NAVI's picks win, the deciders don't. NAVI won their own pick only once in those two series (Cache), lost Anubis as their pick, and lost both deciders. In a matchup this lopsided, a NAVI map win usually comes on a map they chose or on a map Vitality picked into them, like Nuke.

Why does this matter for betting? Because once the veto is done, you can bet individual maps. If NAVI's pick is a map they've had success on, the "NAVI to win map 1" price can be more interesting than the series price. Our guide to map winner betting covers how those markets work.

What a typical price implies

Before the 4 October EPL S24 meeting, cs2observer reported odds of about 1.19 on Vitality and 4.30 on NAVI. Here's how to read that:

  • 1 ÷ 1.19 = 84.0% implied for Vitality.
  • 1 ÷ 4.30 = 23.3% implied for NAVI.
  • Those add up to 107.3%. The extra 7.3% is the bookmaker's margin.
  • Strip the margin out proportionally and you get roughly 78.3% Vitality, 21.7% NAVI.

So the market said NAVI win that BO3 about one time in five. That's a fair reflection of 2026: one NAVI win in seven series is about 14%, but bookmakers also price in NAVI's quality and the chance of a bad day for Vitality. If you want to run these numbers yourself, our odds explained guide and the esports odds calculator do the conversions for you.

The point: a price of 1.19 isn't "free money" on Vitality. It means you need Vitality to win more than 84% of the time just to break even. Over 2026 they won 6 of 7, about 86%, so the price was close to fair. There's no hidden edge in backing the favourite here, just a small profit when they win and a big loss when they don't.

BO3 vs BO5: why format moves the odds

NAVI vs Vitality has been played in both formats this year. The format changes the price because a longer series gives the better team more chances to show it.

Use a simple model where each map is independent and Vitality win any given map with probability p:

  • BO3: Vitality win = p² × (3 − 2p)
  • BO5: Vitality win = p³ × (1 + 3q + 6q²), where q = 1 − p

Plugging in two plausible values:

Vitality per-map chanceBO3 seriesBO5 seriesVitality 2-0 in a BO3Over 2.5 maps in a BO3
60%64.8%68.3%36.0%48.0%
65%71.8%76.5%42.3%45.5%

Two takeaways:

  1. The BO5 price on Vitality should be shorter than the BO3 price for the same matchup. If a book offers the same price for both, the BO5 one is the better deal for a Vitality backer.
  2. Vitality to win 2-0 isn't as likely as it feels. Even at a 65% per-map chance, a clean 2-0 is under 50%. In 2026, two of Vitality's four BO3 wins against NAVI went to a third map.

Real maps aren't fully independent, because a team's own map pick is usually stronger than the decider. The model is a sanity check, not a price.

Which markets make sense in this matchup

When one team is a heavy favourite, the series winner market is often the least interesting place to be. Here's how the usual markets line up:

  • Series winner: short price on Vitality, long price on NAVI. Only worth it if you disagree with the market on the chance of an upset, for example because of a stand-in or illness.
  • Map handicap: "NAVI +1.5 maps" in a BO3 wins if NAVI take at least one map. At a 65% per-map chance for Vitality, that's about 57.7%. Our handicap betting guide explains the maths.
  • Total maps: over 2.5 maps in a BO3 lands about 45-48% of the time in the model above. In 2026, three of five BO3s went the distance, which is a small sample on the high side.
  • Individual map winners: bet after the veto, when you know who picked what. Our breakdown above gives you the 2026 record on each map.
  • Live betting: if NAVI win their own pick, Vitality's series price drifts and you can take a view on the rest. Our live betting guide covers how prices move between maps.

Player props, like ZywOo kills, are also popular for this matchup. In the Bucharest quarter-final ZywOo went 49-40 with an HLTV rating of 1.24, while jL, standing in, finished on 0.97. Props carry a bigger margin than the series market on most books, so check the price before you treat them as an easy edge.

How NAVI's recent form affects the price

NAVI's autumn has been mixed. In ESL Pro League Season 24 they lost to Vitality, Falcons and Passion UA and went out in the Swiss stage. At StarSeries Fall they went out 0-2. At PGL Masters Bucharest they made the playoffs, then lost the quarter-final to Vitality and finished 5th to 8th.

Vitality's middle of the year was strong but not perfect. They lost the IEM Cologne Major quarter-final to Falcons in June, in three maps that all finished 13-11, and they lost to Spirit at the Esports World Cup and to MOUZ at BLAST Open Fall, where jL stood in for mezii. They then won StarSeries Fall and ESL Pro League Season 24.

When you look at a new price, ask three questions:

  1. Who's actually playing? Stand-ins, like jL for apEX in Bucharest, change the balance more than one result does.
  2. What's the format? BO5 helps the favourite. BO1 helps the underdog.
  3. What's the map pool? If the veto is likely to land on Dust2 or Mirage, Vitality's record is perfect this year. Nuke and Cache are where NAVI have found wins.

A worked example

Say the next meeting is a BO3 and a book offers 1.25 on Vitality and 3.90 on NAVI.

  • Implied: 80.0% Vitality, 25.6% NAVI, total 105.6%.
  • No-vig: about 75.8% Vitality, 24.2% NAVI.

If you think Vitality win a map 65% of the time, the model says a BO3 is about 71.8% for Vitality, lower than the 75.8% no-vig price. On that view, NAVI at 3.90 has a small edge and Vitality at 1.25 doesn't.

If you think Vitality are closer to 70% per map, the BO3 number becomes 78.4% and the edge flips to Vitality. The difference between those two views is small, and that's the whole point: in a matchup this lopsided, a few percent of opinion decides whether either side is worth a bet. If you're not confident in your number, the right bet is often no bet. Our bankroll management guide covers how to size bets when the edge is thin.

Compare the price on each before you bet. A move from 1.19 to 1.23 on a favourite sounds tiny, but it's a big part of the margin.

FAQ

Who usually wins NAVI vs Vitality?

Vitality, by a distance lately. In 2026 the teams have met seven times and Vitality won six, including both meetings at PGL Masters Bucharest in late October. NAVI's only 2026 series win came in the IEM Atlanta playoffs in May.

What are typical NAVI vs Vitality odds?

Vitality are normally a clear favourite. Before their EPL Season 24 meeting on 4 October 2026, cs2observer reported prices of about 1.19 on Vitality and 4.30 on NAVI, which works out to roughly 78% to 22% once the bookmaker margin is removed. Prices for the next meeting will depend on form, rosters and the format.

Which maps are best for NAVI against Vitality?

On the 2026 maps we have scores for, NAVI's wins came on Anubis, Inferno, Nuke and Cache, while Vitality won every Dust2 and Mirage meeting. That's a small sample, so use it as a starting point rather than a rule.

Does BO5 or BO3 favour Vitality?

A longer series favours the stronger team. If Vitality win a single map 65% of the time, they win a BO3 about 72% of the time and a BO5 about 77% of the time. That's why NAVI's map handicap and "to win a map" prices tend to be the more interesting markets in a BO5.

Is it worth betting on NAVI as an underdog against Vitality?

Only if you think the real chance is higher than the price says. At 4.30 the price implies about 23% before the margin is stripped out. NAVI beat Vitality once in seven 2026 meetings, so you'd need a specific reason, like a stand-in on Vitality's side or a map pool edge, to think the price is too long.

Where can I bet on NAVI vs Vitality with skins or crypto?

CSGOEmpire and Clash.gg both offer CS2 match betting with skins and crypto. You must be 18+ and the sites are not available everywhere, so check the terms for your country or state first.
