CS2 Float Chart: Every Wear Tier at a Glance
Float decides wear, and wear decides price, bro. Here's every tier in one picture, plus a quick checker.
CS2 float / wear tier chart
Wear tiers table
| Wear | Float range | Share of 0-1 scale | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Factory New | 0.00-0.07 | 7% | Cleanest, usually most expensive |
| Minimal Wear | 0.07-0.15 | 8% | Often near-FN look for less |
| Field-Tested | 0.15-0.38 | 23% | Best value range for many skins |
| Well-Worn | 0.38-0.45 | 7% | Narrow, visible wear |
| Battle-Scarred | 0.45-1.00 | 55% | Heavy wear; some skins look cool anyway |
Skin float ranges matter
Every skin has its own min and max. A skin with a range of 0.00-0.08 can only be Factory New or Minimal Wear; one with 0.06-0.80 can't drop below 0.06. Check the skin's range before you hunt for a specific float.
How to use the chart when buying
- Find the float in the listing's inspect details.
- Check where it sits in the tier: a 0.151 Field-Tested looks close to Minimal Wear; a 0.37 is close to Well-Worn.
- Pay premiums only for floats you can see. Low floats on busy patterns often look the same.
