What the code actually gives you
3 free cases
You get three cases to open without spending anything. The items you hit land in your balance as Clash.gg's onsite currency, which you can use on the site or towards a withdrawal once you meet the site's requirements. Don't expect a knife from a free case. Free cases usually hold low-value items with a small chance at something better. Think of them as a free test drive: you see how case opening, animations and the balance system work before you put in a cent.
5% deposit bonus
After you redeem the code, the next deposit you make gets a 5% boost. Deposit $20 and you get roughly $21 worth of balance to play with. It's not life-changing, but it's free value on money you were going to deposit anyway. Clash.gg's own Rewards page describes the affiliate code as giving "+5% bonus on your next deposit", so the order matters: redeem first, deposit second.
Access to the rest of the rewards system
Once you're in, Clash.gg also runs daily, weekly and monthly rakeback, daily cases that unlock as you level up, a daily race and "rain" drops. Those aren't part of the code. They're what you get for being an active account, but having a code linked from day one means you start with the bonus already sorted.
How to redeem the Clash.gg promo code (step by step)
- Go to clash.gg using our link above so the code is already attached. Always check the address bar says clash.gg, nothing extra.
- Sign in with Steam through the official Steam login pop-up. Check the URL is steamcommunity.com before typing your password.
- Open Rewards from the main menu.
- Find Redeem Code, type FREECASES4U and confirm.
- Open your free cases from the rewards or free case area.
- Deposit if you want to, and the 5% bonus lands on that next deposit.
- Check your balance to make sure the bonus showed up.
Using the referral link instead
Our button above is a referral link: https://clash.gg/welcome/r/FREECASES4U. Opening it pre-fills the code, so it works the same as typing it in. Some players type it anyway to be safe, which does no harm.
Clash.gg promo code vs referral code vs bonus code
People search for all three terms, and it confuses everyone. Here's the deal:
| What people search | What it is on Clash.gg |
|---|---|
| Clash.gg promo code | The affiliate code you type in Redeem Code |
| Clash gg referral code | Same thing, it links you to whoever referred you |
| Clash.gg bonus code | Same thing, named after the deposit bonus |
| Clash.gg free case code | Same thing, named after the free cases |
| Clash.gg codes 2026 | Whatever code is live this year, which for us is FREECASES4U |
So one code covers all of it. You don't need to collect five different codes. Most sites only let one affiliate code sit on an account at a time anyway.
Clash.gg codes 2026: what's changed
Codes from old forum threads and videos often stop working or point to affiliates who've left. A few things we noticed in 2026:
- The free cases and 5% bonus are the standard welcome package. Be wary of anyone promising "100% bonus" or huge no-deposit cash. Those claims are usually exaggerated, and you won't find them in Clash.gg's own rewards area.
- Free bonuses can need verification. Clash.gg says KYC applies to some free bonuses to stop abuse.
- Free play exists. Clash.gg advertises free ways to get started, including rain and a daily free case, as well as a mail-in option with its own rules in the site's terms.
We check our code regularly. If anything changes, this page gets updated.
How to get the most out of your free cases
Free is free, but you can still be smart about it:
- Open them right away so you don't forget they're there.
- Don't chase. If the free cases hit nothing, that's normal. Don't deposit just to "win it back".
- Learn the balance system. Notice how items convert to balance and what the withdrawal store looks like.
- Check the case odds. Each case shows item chances. Get used to reading them, because it's the best habit you can build.
- Try a cheap case battle in your head first. Watch a few battles before you join one, so you understand how they're scored.
Using the 5% deposit bonus wisely
A deposit bonus makes your money go a bit further, but it doesn't change the house edge. A few rules we follow:
- Set your budget before you deposit. The bonus shouldn't make you deposit more than you planned.
- Start small. You can always add more later. You can't un-deposit.
- Check for wagering rules. Some deposits need to be played through before you can withdraw. Clash.gg's rules and FAQ explain the current requirements.
- Pick your games. Cheaper cases and low-stakes battles let a small balance last longer.
Common reasons the code doesn't work
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Invalid code" | Check the spelling: FREECASES4U, no spaces |
| Code accepted, no bonus on deposit | You may have deposited before redeeming. The bonus applies to the next deposit after redeeming |
| Already used another code | Affiliate codes usually lock to an account. Contact support if you think it's wrong |
| Can't claim free cases | Some free rewards need KYC or a Steam account in good standing |
| Steam deposit not showing | Clash.gg's FAQ says Steam deposits need Mobile Authenticator active for 15+ days, with no trade hold |
| On a lookalike site | Only redeem on clash.gg |
Is Clash.gg worth it with a promo code?
The code makes starting out cheaper. It doesn't make Clash.gg risk-free. Before you go in, know the trade-offs. Clash.gg is a long-running site with provably fair games, a deep game list and solid rewards. Independent reviews also point out that it doesn't hold a recognised gambling licence and runs a sweepstakes-style model instead, and some players report withdrawal delays and KYC friction on Trustpilot. Our full take is in the Clash.gg review. Withdrawals are covered in Clash.gg withdrawal time, and fairness checks in Clash.gg provably fair explained.
Clash.gg code vs CSGOEmpire code
Same code, different perks. On CSGOEmpire, FREECASES4U unlocks a free case worth up to $1.4k. Lots of players use both sites: Clash.gg for case battles and the upgrader, CSGOEmpire for roulette and match betting. See our CSGOEmpire promo code page and the head-to-head Clash.gg vs CSGOEmpire.
